Making even small changes to your daily routine can make a world of difference to your health, weight and well-being.
By using the chart on the right, I will help you to establish whether a change in diet and lifestyle is desirable.
As part of your induction program I will take a note of your your weight measure your waist. Your waist size is a good indicator of your health and your exposure to risks such as heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. Generally speaking excess fat around the waist is undesirable whilst around the bottom, hips and thights is accepted to be less harmful.
Your waist should ideally measure at least half that of your height. For example if you are 5' 10" (1.78m) your waist size should be around 35" (88.9cm)
Your body mass index is designed to show your ideal weight. Draw a line horizontally across the chart at your height and a line vertically up from your weight measurement. Where the two lines intersect on the chart should fall within the OK section
