Skipping is an exercise which is no longer confined to the school playground.
Boxers use skipping as training before a fight and it is now incorporated into many gym classes.
It is a great way of getting fit, staying in shape and can be done anytime and anywhere.
In my skipping classes we skip to music on a sprung studio floor, combining different foot combinations as well as basic foot patterns.
Benefits of skipping include the following:-

- Excellent for trimming excess weight, especially on hips, thighs and bottoms
